This degree will equip you with a broad range of professional and marketing skills, that enable you to be a dynamic force in the world of sales and marketing and help businesses, and yourself, stand out in the crowd. In your first year you鈥檒l develop a depth of business knowledge and skills required for any commercial context. This includes skills in management, leadership, accounting, marketing, HR, law, economics and sustainability, as well as knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Then across your second and third years you鈥檒l dive deeper into marketing and sales, where you鈥檒l develop an advanced understanding of the art of marketing in today鈥檚 fast-paced, ever-changing commercial landscape. You鈥檒l gain knowledge and skills in marketing management and strategy, including marketing planning, customer experience, B2B marketing, sales and communication, as well as international marketing and contemporary marketing issues. Additionally, you鈥檒l channel the knowledge and skills you acquire into a practical industry project for a local business or organisation, in which you鈥檒l address business issues or advance business opportunities. Part-time up to 10 years.
