The purpose of the Shirtcliffe Fellowship is to assist New Zealand university graduates of outstanding ability and character in the continuation of their studies in New Zealand or the Commonwealth.Value/Benefits:聽Financial assistance at a value of $5,000 per annum (May be held for up to three years).Level of Study:聽Doctoral.Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 1 April (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date).Tenure: Three years.Number Available Annually: One.Applicable Enrolment During Tenure:聽Open to New Zealand university graduates聽planning to register or be currently registered as a doctoral candidate at a university in New Zealand or other Commonwealth country.Citizenship/Residency Requirements:聽Applicants must be New Zealand citizens and ordinarily reside in New Zealand.For more information, please read the regulations for this award: Click here.
