The Ella C Wilson Music Award was established in memory of Ella C Wilson, a long-serving staff member of Napier Girls' High School. The award supports female students of the New Zealand School of Music who are enrolled full-time in either an undergraduate or postgraduate music degree and have applied, or are about to apply, for a BMusHons, PGDip, MMus, MMA, MTherapy, PhD, or DMA degree. Preference is given to Masters students. The award is valued at $5,000, subject to funds available.
Entry requirements
Must be female students at the New Zealand School of Music, enrolled in a postgraduate music degree. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. Financial hardship may be taken into consideration.
