These Scholarships are intended to encourage and support M膩ori students to undertake doctoral study at Te Herenga Waka 鈥 Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship comprises a $32,000 tax-free stipend per year for three years (36 months), plus tuition fees and student levies. The stipend will be paid to each scholarship recipient in monthly instalments. Applicants must apply for admission to any doctoral programme at Te Herenga Waka 鈥 Victoria University of Wellington.
Entry requirements
Open to all M膩ori candidates who intend to enrol for a doctorate at Te Herenga Waka 鈥 Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants would normally be expected to have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree with academic distinction equivalent to a First Class Honours degree at a New Zealand University.
