This scholarship was established in 1980 by the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Sir John Marshall, to encourage the study of Political Science at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. The Scholarship was extended to include International Relations. Applicants must have completed 100 level POLS or INTP and be enrolled in 200 level POLS or INTP courses at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington before the scholarship is paid. Selection will be based on academic merit.
