Partners Life is a New Zealand operated company that offers this scholarship to support students studying Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or similar majors at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are enrolled in their second year or later and intend to complete their studies. The successful recipient may also be offered an internship at Partners Life over the summer break, subject to business requirements.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently studying (undergraduate or postgraduate) at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington, majoring in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar major. Must be enrolled in a second year (or later) of BSc or BCom, majoring in Actuarial Science and intending to complete the major. Academic excellence is required with an A-grade average/GPA of 7 or above. Evidence of strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills is also necessary.
