The scholarship is to assist classical pianists entering postgraduate study at either the New Zealand School of Music or an approved overseas institute. This scholarship has been established by an anonymous bequest donor to assist classical pianists entering postgraduate study at either the New Zealand School of Music or an approved overseas institute. Applicants must provide evidence that they have been awarded a place. The successful recipient will be selected by the New Zealand School of Music. Recipients must write a letter of thanks to the donor of this scholarship. The recipient will be expected to demonstrate engagement and contribute to the community and environment of the New Zealand School of Music. This may include participation in ensembles, presentations, or performances at NZSM or university events.
Entry requirements
The scholarship will be open to classical piano students (who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents), entering postgraduate studies at either the New Zealand School of Music or an approved overseas institute. The scholarship is also open to international students who are applying for study at the New Zealand School of Music.
