This scholarship is available for students enrolled in full-time undergraduate study, up to (and including) honours level, whose family resides within the Waikato Regional Council's operational boundaries, largely the lands of Tainui waka. The Panel may favour candidates studying in resource management or environmental fields. The value will vary according to the level of study.
