The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship provides funding for students pursuing a PhD. In 2025, the scholarship will have a special funding round for applicants critical to research projects, teaching operations, or those who are M膩ori or indigenous Pacific students who fall below the auto-award GPA threshold.
Entry requirements
Students must have a domestic Honours or Masters degree with at least a GPA of 8 and an A- on the research component. For the special round, applicants must discuss eligibility with their prospective supervisor.
