This project explores width parameters for matroids, particularly focusing on contraction-depth. The goal is to generalise known results about contraction-depth for representable matroids to all matroids and develop an analogue of contraction-depth that behaves well under duality.
Entry requirements
A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Required supporting documentation must also be received by the closing date.
