A Prize for the full-time BMus, BMus(Hons), PGDipMus or MMus student who achieved the highest mark in a musicology essay. The Drake Prize was established in 2010 by the School of Music to honour the work of Associate Professor Warren Drake, a distinguished senior academic staff member at the School of Music for more than 40 years. The Prize is awarded each year to a senior student in the Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music (Hons), PG Dip Music or Master of Music for the best musicology essay of the year.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
