A Prize for the student who produces the best piece of poetry at Stage III level of a BA, or a BA(Hons), MCW or PhD in Creative Practice. The Prize was established in 2016 and is funded by the donor in memory of her father, Shimon Weinroth, who was an Israeli American awarding winning poet and philosopher. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward the student who produces the best piece of poetry and demonstrates a focus and commitment to writing poetry.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
