A Scholarship of up to $40,000 per annum for a domestic or international student enrolled in a PhD in Planning. The Scholarship was established in 2018 and is funded by a bequest from Philip Robert Deibert, who began his career as an architectural draughting cadet at the Ministry of Works and Development (MWD) in 1960. The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support an academically excellent domestic, or international student who is paying domestic fees, to undertake doctoral study in Planning at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
